France Shelf Lyre

Catalog Description:

C.1890, French, Small Lyre clock, the case veneered with red tortoise shell, and with ormolu mounts. Has an attractive bezel with all paste brilliants intact. The cream colored porcelain dial has fancy polychrome wreath decoration. The crystal is quite dirty around the edges, and there is substantial dirt down in the crevices. The pendulum on this model is suspended at the rear, top, and swings behind the lyre form case. Height 14 inches
