A Gaisbauer

Catalog Description:

C.1900, Austrian, A. Gaisbauer, Wien, 30-Day timepiece in a walnut case. This is a large meter pendulum regulator. Someone has added a gilt carving C.1820, which might look great on a piece of Biedermeier furniture. If you hold something over the image, you will see it actually looks better without the top. The movement is well made, with 5 wheels in the train (winds to the left), and is certain to be enjoyed by someone looking for a large and accurate wall regulator. Is running briskly. Height without top 66"; height with top, 82 inches
