Vienna regulator, ca 1860-1875. 3 weight, unsigned, 8 day Grand Sonnerie movement, runs and strikes as intended. One piece dead beat anchor, wood shelf movement mount; period hands, pendulum bob, stick, and weights. 48 inch walnut case, intricate carvings top to bottom. Burl walnut used in places, half columns on the door, carved capitals and bases. Wood inlay on the backboard, 2 piece side glasses rather than the usual 1 piece glass. This is a very attractive "blind man's clock", striking quarters and hours on a coil gong.
