There has been some minor touch up with white paint, and there is evidence of a missing garland in the girl's hair, and the clock sat in a smoky room and has some nicotine stains on the tablet and other crevices. A blue and white frieze surrounds the base with winged cherubs at study, measuring the globe, looking through a telescope and reading scrolls. The well made silk suspension movement is complete and sound; porcelain dial with a chip at right winding hole, and by F/S stem; silk style pendulum is a replacement. Considering that the clock is 200 years old, it is in quite good condition. Runs and strikes; Height 17"
