| I am VERY happy with the price guide. My subscription paid for itself the first day!!! While online bidding I have two browsers open. One for the auction, the other for the price guide. More often than not, it has saved me hundreds of dollars when auction fever takes over a particular auction. I use it as a reference tool to establish my top bid limit. At the moment, I do not have any suggestions for improvement but rest assured you will hear from me if I think of something to enhance the guide.— R.C., Ebay bidder |

This is an excellent resource for me. I am an appraiser and am familiar with clocks, but this guide goes the extra step for me. It gives me a wide group of the similar clocks, showing ranges of values. There are values from the retail market, from the auction market, and other markets as well. Not only is this a "Price Guide" , but assists you in learning more about the different types of clocks. It assists you in learning a little more about the maker of your clock; there is an illustrated glossary; helps you in dating clocks. This cetainly will not make you an instant expert, but it will open your eyes to more than you ever thought you could learn. This is only one of my most important tools I use on a daily basis. It mostly deals with the middle market up to upper market clocks. I am thankful for this, as it
expedites my hours of research for each of my reports, but does not replace actual inspections of the property in question. Great addition for appraisers and other affilated fields. — B. A. Morgan, Appraiser, Raritan, New Jersey |

I had a lot of help from your ID guide in identifying and describing the 4 clocks in my next auction. I find I often refer to the Guide doing research. Yes, it is VERY helpful. I have referred some people to it.—Harry Mullis, Auctioneer |

Dear Sirs:
I would like to thank you for your service in regard to your web site. I am happy and sad at the same time. You see I had just finished requesting an on line appraisal from (name excluded)on a clock that I own. The appraisal cost $35.00 and when I received it I could hardly beleive the information they gave me. The clock is c.1880, Ansonia "Crystal Palace No.1 Extra" Crystal Regulator, according to your price guide. Other than the glass cover being a little differant shape and no gold on your figurines they look the same.I was shocked because the appraisers told me that they thought the clock is a marriage of possibly two clocks and they had never seen an Ansonia clock under a glass dome. Your price guide has taught me a valuable lesson very early in getting my feet wet here. Seek several resources to find the truth. Thanks For Helping Me!— David Starr |

I am completely blown away by your clock price guide, including the clock presentations as well as the clock-related information. I think eCollectica Publishing is the way to go - as you say, printed price guides are out of date before they even hit the bookstores. Appraisers will find your online price guides accurate and convenient. For those doing on-the-road "appraisal days" where the availability of traditional reference resources is limited, such sites as yours will prove invaluable. I look forward to seeing more eCollectica price guides down the road.
