Chelsea Clock Co. 8 day spring driven banjo or patent timepiece retailed by Shreve, Crump and Low, Boston in mahogany case with lower tablet picturing a scene of the War of 1812 battle between the Constitution and the British Guerriere and gilded brass eagle finial, c1948 sNo. 552248 Boston, Mass., Circa 1830, 8-day patent or banjo timepiece, incomplete. A C.1915 custom Banjo case, with a c.1910 Chelsea weight banjo movement, rope front, Boston State House Glasses, as-found. Massachusetts Lyre over Box banjo timepiece, C.1840, 8-day, weight driven, with carved mahogany front and blind lower door, with restorations. American banjo copy of a 1930 Waltham model with the dial and movement marked E. Howard and Co., the movement was not made by Howard, but by someone who copied a movement and made the case.
